Development Update 01 - Starting (again)!
On August 9th of 2012, myself and Corey Zanotti launched a game called Fuzz, which we started work on 6 months prior to that.
The two of us attended Savannah College of Art & Design, and had the goal of making a small and simple game as a side project. It was a great time overall, despite the end product not entirely living up to the original vision, as simple as it was.
We built the game in Flash, although using only minimal functions of the core program, primarily relying on an open-source game-making library called Flixel which was popular at the time.
Now, 7 years later, we’ve decided to use the core assets and gameplay of Fuzz as a jumping-off point to learn XCode and iOS development. It’s our goal to remake the original Fuzz using this framework, and along the way update some aspects like art style, music, and level design.
